our rooms

  • The Sanctuary - Intervention room

For some, their initial contact with the service will be because they are in crisis. We have made sure that our crisis support room is a welcoming safe space, where service users can feel comfortable. We feel that offering a face to face setting means that service users can take a break from their every day environments and that providing a less clinical setting means they can relax and talk more openly.

The space offers a relaxed environment where one can feel supported and listened to. Our trained volunteers will take some initial details from you, complete a safety plan and talk you through the wellbeing box that you will be offered. They will then spend some time listening to your concerns, giving you the opportunity to offload those things that are weighing you down.

The next step is to see one of our person centred therapists, for up to six therapy sessions, where you will be taught ways to manage your mood and given tools that will assist with creating resilience. These will be tailored to your own specific needs - we do not provide a one size fits all service as we believe everyone is unique and has their own responses to their challenges.

  • The Snug - Drop in

The Snug is a safe space provision for adults who are experiencing struggles with their mental health. Its relaxed environment makes it feel like a home away from home.

Enjoy free refreshments and join in with planned activities or sit and read a book or play games. This safe space is designed to help you de stress and take time out from your every day struggles.

Run by our team of friendly volunteers you can expect to feel welcomed and respected.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive facility where we welcome adults regardless of age, gender, social background, cultural background or beliefs.

  • The Cozy Corner - Drop in

The Cozy Corner is our accessible safe space provision that allows for anyone with limited mobility to benefit from our mental health support community.

Just like The Snug it is designed to feel homely and aims to support those struggling with mental distress or feeling overwhelmed. There are planned activities, you are welcome to join or simply use the space as somewhere to hang out away from the demands of your every day stresses.

The drop ins are free to access and all provisions within such as activities and refreshments are also free.

People are of course welcome to offer donations if they would like.
